Seeing is believing..
Heron Lakes is the culmination of 8 years detailed research and planning which has resulted in the realisation of the vision the Bird family have strived to achieve.
Working on the basic principles of nature and a like minded community co-existing to the benefit of the environment, we are moving forward in leaps and bounds to achieve this goal.
Working in conjunction with both Defra and Hull Wildlife Trust, we have carefully created the lakes and surrounding areas to fully promote the correct habitat and encourage diversity. As a result WILDLIFE abounds, including Deer, Hares, Swans, Ducks, Sandmartins and of course Herons! The Lakes themselves are a Coarse and Fly Fisherman's Dream!!
Heron Lakes recently received the David Bellamy Conservation Award for its efforts.
In addition with advice from the Forestry commission, we have planted in excess of 40,000 trees of all varieties.
Seeing really is believing, so why not come and savour a little piece of the Lake District in the heart of East Yorkshire.
The Park
Set in 75 acres with a total of just 50 lodges, Heron Lakes is one of the lowest density parks in the whole of the U.K. with the added advantage that we can accommodate lodges up to 65x22ft.
Ideally located, Heron is within easy road and rail links being just 3 miles from Beverley and local airports are within a short distance.
Why not drop in and see for yourselves. We operate a relaxed, no pressure park where you will have the opportunity to view all lodges in your own time and unaccompanied. You are more than welcome to just pop in for information or put your walking shoes on and explore.
Our staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, and have also been known to provide tea, coffee and biscuits!!
